Rachel Nusbaumer is a Swiss musician, passionate about music since her childhood. She began to study music at the age of 5, studying the flute and the oboe at the Conservatory of Del\u00e9mont (Jura, Suisse) following up Geneva.
Meanwhile, she became interested to compose music on a computer, which allows her to play her own compositions, instead of having a real orchestra.
The fundamental for her stays classical. She loves developing classic harmonies with more contemporary sounds. Her influences are either Bach and Corelli, Jean-Michel Jarre, Ennio Morricone or Hans Zimmer.
Her passion and talent for composition has always been grown and she produced several albums: The international compilation \u201cBands United\u201d in which she participates offers her worldwide exposure and she is contacted to compose music, in Europe and across the Atlantic.\nHer neoclassical music has quickly oriented her into film music and sound design. In 2006, her composition \u201cDaydreaming\u201d is played at One olympic show in Turin during the Olympic Games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2015, \u201cL\u2019Inconnue du Parc\u201d, a short film directed by S\u00e9bastien Cornioley, she composed the music for, had been selected at the 68th Cannes Film Festival and this allows her to climb the mythical red carpet.\nShe has composed soundtracks for many short films, webseries, videos etc. Now she focuses more on neoclassical music, influenced by great composers like Thomas Bergersen, Max Richter, Olafur Arnalds or James Paget. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

She loves expressing her creativity in different genres: epic, neoclassical, cinematic. What's most important to her are the emotions she conveys through her music.
